The 5th China International Circus Festival was held from 16 to 23 November 2018 at Chimelong Hengqin International Circus City, bringing together 25 top troupes from 20 countries. The programme featured 12 official competition shows and 4 community outreach performances, attracting a total audience of over 350,000.

For the first time, the festival launched the “International Circus Bus” flash performances, taking circus acts into Zhuhai’s landmarks and delivering delightful, up-close surprises to residents of Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macao, further enhancing the festival’s urban influence and cultural appeal.
